Calvary Temple is teaming up with Lehigh Valley Christian High School in a campaign called 10,000 for Congo to collect new and lightly used footwear for adults and children of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Their goal is to collect 1,000 pairs of athletic or casual shoes (rubber soles) for men, women and children living in the Democratic Republic of Congo (Africa).

What

They will accept new (doesn’t have to cost an arm and a leg, purchase what your budget can afford) or lightly used (the key word here is lightly and no shoe boxes are necessary). If you are unsure what size, don’t worry, they are looking for all different sizes. Purchase your own shoe size or that of your child(ren).

When

Calvary would like to collect this Sunday, so that we can turn it over to the High School on Monday.

Where

Bring your shoe donation to the church office or hand off to Sis. Eleanor, Bro. Bill, Rev. Dee or Rev. Shelley.

Thanks in advance for your participation.
