We win

Dear Calvary Temple Family and Friends,

As we take a look across the globe we see the spirit of fear gripping every nation. Billions of people are now living a life of uncertainty not knowing what will come next.

Among these billions are people destined for salvation. Let us equip ourselves so that when the social distancing has been lifted we are battle-ready to present the gospel to those around us.

In a time of uncertainty, every heart is open to hearing good news. You and I have been chosen by God to live in this period of human history. He has chosen us to share the good news in a world desperately in search of hope.

For this reason, we will continue our discipleship training while at the same time adhering to social distancing of at least seven feet so that we may all remain healthy.

Therefore, if you have been desiring to learn how to share the good news, join us for training to be prepared to share.

Our facility will be closed as of March 22nd through April 12th with the exception of T4T training each Sunday from 11-1. This means that Good Friday’s service has also been canceled.

While we will not have service for the next three weeks, it is important to stay connected (gather) limited to the current guidelines released by the CDC.

Each Sunday during our closure we will be streaming praise and worship videos and messages from the series “Fear Not” from our website from 9:30 am – 10:40 am

God gave me the series “Fear Not” last year with the clear thought of preparing the congregation for something to come. While I did not know what was to come at the time, I truly believe that He was preparing us for such a time as this.

Let us not fear. We win because our God has won!

Please be safe, knowing that our assignment has not ended. May our Lord be with you and your family. If there is a need, please reach out to Pastor Brian (484-225-8168), Pastor Dee (484-951-7125) or Pastor Shelley (610-428-0551), they will communicate with me and we will respond.

Grace and Peace,

Ray A. Ricketts
Senior Pastor

P.S. Some connectivity suggestions:

  • As individuals – Invite a friend to view and participate in a discussion about the message, “Fear Not” and the application of the truth of God’s word.
  • As families: Utilize this opportunity to come together and worship. Consider inviting a neighbor to experience the message with you.
  • As Discipleship Groups: 11 am – 1 pm – T4T Groups 1 (Old group) and 2 (New group beginning) will meet in separate rooms. Group 1 in Fellowship Hall (Large and small) Group 2 in the Foyer.
