Operation Christmas Child promotion

Dear Calvary Temple Family and Friends,

The Operation Christmas Child Campaign is underway wherein we get the opportunity to share the love of Jesus with a child. The campaign lasts until November 20th which is the last day to bring in your items.

A PERSONAL NOTE

You may enclose a note to the child and a photo of yourself, your family, or group. Here’s what can happen when you do so.

In the case of Jargalmaa, a 7-year-old in Mongolia. She received a box with a simple yet powerful note that said,

You are valuable and so loved by God.

This meant a lot because she had never heard “I love you” from her parents or grandparents. She then followed through as part of The Greatest Journey discipleship program and later accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior in 10th grade.

15 years after receiving her shoebox gift, Jargalmaa, her husband, and two young children (pictured above) have recently moved to a new community where they are ministering to youth in hopes of starting a church.

I would like to challenge people wo are preparing shoebox gifts to also write a letter showing God’s love. What’s written there may be very simple, but those simple words could completely change somebody’s life.
