Finale – The Risen Christ
A peek at last year’s Easter Play Finale moment. Captured for posterity with the click of a button is an image of the portrayal of The Risen Christ. This signifies a triumphant and all important moment in Christian history. Right before the image was snapped these words were heard, “The tomb is empty! Our hope is secure!”
It is a beautifully poignant moment and if you were in the audience, you were probably close to tears or had already shed a few.
But even beyond the emotion and tears is an ever important, one might even say, nagging question: “Is my hope secure?”
